60% of Russians in real estate transactions turn to the help of realtors
Experts portal Mail.ru real Estate conducted a survey and found out why the Russians do not like realtors.
According to the survey, most Russians (58%) appealed for help to realtors. Often they are bought or sold real estate.
5% of Russians believe that the services of real estate professionals are not necessary.
"In most cases people still prefer to use "word of mouth" and sale/delivery of housing "by owner". Realtors also take on the bulk of the required procedures and risks, such as: initial inspection, verification of documents on the apartment, drawing up of contracts. Most often their services are used by residents of large cities — there is a market for richer and more complex. In small towns, as a rule, all objects for sale and rent "in the mind"," said project Manager real Estate Mail.ru Helen Schlegel.
According to analysts of the portal, 45% of respondents noted the low quality of work of realtors. Thus, among the reasons for the dissatisfaction were not fully complied with the obligations (60%), too high (42%), incorrect contract, and the range of objects that were not for sale or for lease.
"Interaction with large real estate agencies, usually reduce risks — they have an official price and standard contracts for services with which the customer can view before you start working", — said Elena Schlegel.
The survey was conducted among 5985 users of the project Property Mail.ru from 24 to 31 July 2019.
