The Governor Alexander Beglov said at the meeting of the coordinating staff at the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation to prevent and combat the spread of novel coronavirus infection in the territory of the northwestern Federal district, which addressed questions about the risks of implementing the national project "Housing and the urban environment" in the context of the pandemic and the completion of problem houses and protect the rights of defrauded investors.

According to the head of the city, authorities have taken measures to stabilize the economy in the context of infection, including the action plan to support the construction of the complex. According to weekly monitoring, the financial position of the companies is safe and remains stable. It is not fixed any case of suspension of construction due to the spread of infection.

In this regard, the Smolny did not adjust plans for new housing for the year. This is despite the fact that in the first half was deposited with only 650 thousand square meters (a planned million).
