For the first time in 2020, the demand for apartments in St. Petersburg began to grow

The demand for apartments in St. Petersburg comes from the "peak". These data lead experts of R-FIX.

According to the company, in June 2020 consumer interest in units in the St. Petersburg apartment complexes rose by 2.84% compared to may of the same year. This small increase was the first in the current year. Up to this point, the demand for apartments since January has consistently decreased.

Experts also note that the first summer month of the current year slightly exceeded that of June 2019. The positive adjustment amounted to 1.14%.

In previous years, the demand for apartments, since the summer is growing. In the 2019 summer peak of interest occurred in July.

"The demand for apartments with the gradual removal of restrictions and access to the normal pace of life will only grow. According to our estimates, the peak consumer demand in 2020 year will be in the fall and winter. In the same period, prices for rental property will be actively growing," – said General Director of R-FIX Igor Petrov.
