Preferential mortgage revived construction market
Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that the preferential mortgage revived construction sector in the country.
"Today, this measure allows to say with confidence that in the framework of the national project "Housing and the urban environment" we have figures for the mortgage this year definitely exceeded. We also now continue to work to strengthen this measure, we are preparing additional proposals," the official said.
According to him, thanks to this program until November 1 in the Russian economy will go another hundreds of billions of rubles.
Earlier, Marat Khusnullin in the First channel stated that to extend this program is not planned.
"Not yet. Until November," – said Khusnullin to the question about plans to extend the program of subsidizing mortgage rates at 6.5% .
Since the end of April, Russian banks have received about 170 thousand applications. In total, financial institutions have issued nearly 40 thousand credits for the sum about 100 billion roubles.
